This exciting study programme has been developed to provide a flexible approach to study using a variety of units. Devised to encourage learners to stretch and grow. The qualification provides learners with the opportunity to extend their learning in preparation for further vocational learning in further or higher education settings. This qualification is not designed to lead directly to employment but will maximise opportunities for learners to progress by focusing on the development of transferable and sector-related skills. The qualification is designed to meet the needs of learners in terms of content, assessment and progression.

Assessment Method

Learners are assessed through activities that are internally set by tutors. These include role play, practical demonstration, report writing, group discussion, essay, written question/answer

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to progress to Level 2 in Business

Careers can lead to: Sales Assistant, Customer Service, Personal Assistant, Receptionist, Data controller, Call Centre Operator

Entry Requirements

Age 16-18, Functional Skills English E3, or successful completion of an Entry 3 qualification in a related subject - plus an initial assessment that indicates an appropriate level of English ability and satisfactory reference.
