If you're aged 16 to 19 our Introductory Diploma in Accounting and Business will give you an all-round foundation in accountancy and business skills, so you can move seamlessly into the workplace or further study. You will also get the opportunity to complete Introductory Award in Accounting Skills to Run Your Business which will enable you to explore entrepreneurialism. This qualification is also known as AAT Level 2 Diploma in Accounting and Business. This course teaches skills relevant to finance officer roles.

By introducing you to a range of financial practices and terminology, and teaching you how to apply ethics and professionalism within an accounting environment, we'll make sure you have the skills employers are looking for.

For example: Financial project managers start on around £29,000 a year and can earn up to £50,000 with 3-5 years' experience Business administrators start on around £26,000 a year and can earn £39,000 with 3-5 years' experience Legal secretaries start on around £24,000 and can earn up to £35,000 with 3-4 years' experience
Having successfully completed this course, you could find yourself working in forensic accounting, corporate finance, tax or even insolvency industries. You may also want to consider taking the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
