This course explores a broad base of essential business skills, and will suit you perfectly if you want to return to study and progress to higher education. The programme qualification is recognised by UCAS, and successful completion of the course will give access to degree programmes. Specific units you will study include accounting; Word Processing and spread sheets; business law; business environments; mathematics; and study skills.
Aims of the course
To develop employability skills along with English and maths and progress on to Access or HNC courses.
5 mandatory units from Group 1 (total credit value of 22) Minimum of 12 credits from Group 2 Maximum of 6 credits from Group 3 A minimum of 40 credits at level 2 or above

After successfully completing the course you can apply to degree courses and further build your expertise in the subject. Past students have studied at Westminster, Greenwich and South Bank universities.

4 GCSEs D-F / or 3-2 (in 2017 GCSEs) Relevant Level 1 qualification with Merit or above Relevant industry experience to Level 1 or above
Students benefit from enrichment activities, gaining English and maths at the required levels (Grade C and above GCSE), tutorial support, employability skills training, and support with job/university applications and interview preparation.
The course is delivered in classrooms and dynamic work spaces a well as a dedicated 90-seater theatre. Facilities include specialist IT equipped classrooms and a well-resourced Learning Centre.
