We all like to eat well but, with our busy lives, often just don't have time to spend hours in the kitchen following lengthy recipes. On this course, you'll learn how to cook a range of healthy meals that take just 20 minutes from start to finish!
The course is taught by top chefs who will show you how to create well-balanced meals ? including fish, meat and vegetarian options ? that will wow your friends and family on any day of the week. By the end of the six week course you will have acquired a variety of new skills which will enable you to make fast work of supper back in your home kitchen. You will be awarded a College certificate when you complete the course.
Aims of the course
Develop skills and practices to be able to produce meals within 20 minutes to a professional standard.
A variety of meat, fish, vegetarian and desserts prepared and cooked and assessed at the end of each session.
Continuous assessment over 6 weeks at the end of each session.
To be able to progress to the level 2 part time course in culinary skills
The desire to learn how to cook within 20 minutes a variety of different dishes. A good level of English and maths is required.
Professionally equipped kitchen with lessons delivered by professional chef lecturers with a background in 4 and 5* establishments.
