Aims of the course
Using traditional techniques and methods this course will teach you a range of techniques and methods used to create stunning classical flower designs using seasonal flowers and foliage's that would be suitable for the bridal party, ceremony and reception.
Bridal party flowers, centre pieces for both ceremony and reception.
Tutor feedback, peer and self-evaluation.
Develop your Floristry portfolio and practical skills to a more advanced level on the following courses: Vintage style wedding flowers, Diverse Floral Funeral & Sympathy Course, European styles.
More advanced florists may prefer one of our accredited courses at level 1, 2 or 3
To make a variety of classic wedding designs.
What can I earn as a florist?

For example:
Florists start on around £11,000 a year and can earn £15,000 with 3 years' experience
Horticulturalists start on around £14,000 a year and can earn £18,000 with 3 years' experience

No formal qualifications needed just an interest and love of flowers and design ? designing and creating classic wedding designs using seasonal flowers and foliage's.
This will be delivered in our floristry studios here at the Southwark campus
