This course will further your knowledge in communications in health and social care, and equal opportunities and clients' health and safety. As a student on this programme, you will benefit from an integral work placement component to consolidate your knowledge, and you will also further develop your English and mathematics skills.
External exam based assessment and internal assessed assignment
The course can lead to a range of degree courses in subjects like health, nursing, social work, social policy, social science, midwifery, psychology or criminology. You may also want to seek employment in the care community or in outreach.
Four GSCEs (any subjects) at grades D-E (one of which must be a related subject) - or successful completion of a Level 1 substantial qualification in a related subject - plus an initial assessment that indicates an appropriate level of English and mathematical ability, a satisfactory reference, and a substantial qualification in a related subject.
