This course will improve your academic writing skills. You will learn how to write well-structured texts with a range of grammar and vocabulary, and how to construct a clear, convincing argument. At the end of the course, you will receive a college certificate as evidence of your participation on the course.

Aims of the course

You will develop the sub-skills that make up academic writing such as text and paragraph organisation, developing an argument, referencing and using data. You will practice writing reports and essays.
