This is a course for anyone interested in sound engineering. You will learn how to record bands and musicians using Avid Pro Tools 12 software, in a professional studio environment. Pro Tools is the industry standard software used in studios around the world. It has a firm place in recording, production and post-production environments with its powerful editing and mixing tools.
Aims of the course
You will learn through weekly workshops and hands on practice in a studio environment. Some theory will be taught to support this process but the focus will be on practical tasks.

The course is suitable for beginners and those with previous experience, wanting to gain further skills as an engineer, or to transfer previous knowledge from other DAW environments. Computer literacy is desirable but not essential
